Barbancourt is a rum produced and bottled in Haiti by Société du Rhum Barbancourt, D. Gardère & Cie.. The company is one of Haiti's oldest, and its rum is one of the country's most famous exports, widely regarded as among the finest rums in the world.
Since 1862, Maison Barbancourt has produced rums in the image of Haiti, with a variety of aromas and styles, both subtle and noble. From rum with a rich, aged body to white and light rum, the Barbancourt distillery offers rums of incomparable character impregnated with the heart of the island. This particularity, it owes it to its founder, Dupré Barbancourt, originating from Charente.
By producing rums from a double distillation ordinarily reserved for the greatest Cognac, Dupré Barbancourt managed to create a rum of a unique quality, with flavors mixing authenticity and refinement.
