After the dust had settled and some normality had been restored we were able to look back at what had transpired. What we found surprised us, we had originally thought with the dry season and quick ripening the wines would look concentrated and dense but instead we saw balanced wines with lifted fruits and fine tannins.

Beautifully perfumed and lifted showing red berry fruits, spice and hint of sweet nutty oak. The wine is complex showing cherry/ strawberry fruits matched with more earthy characters of rhubarb and nutmeg.
Whole bunch fermentation adds lift, savouriness and texture to the wine. The tannins are fine and supple while the acidity adds freshness and length to the finish.
